Women in Recovery Luncheon

6th Annual Women in Recovery Luncheon

Our Luncheon will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2013 on the Father Martin’s Ashley campus.

Honoree

Linda Quirk of
Runwell, The Linda Quirk Foun
dation

This year, we are proud to honor Linda Quirk of the RunWell Foundation. Linda has been racing the globe raising awareness and funds for addiction treatment and long-term recovery since 2008.

Linda launched Runwell, The Linda Quirk Foundation with the belief that partnering sports with addiction treatment helps to keep individuals – and their support bases – committed to recovery.

We are thrilled by the opportunity to partner with Linda and Runwell and proud to honor her with the 2013 Mae Abraham Award.

Visit Runwell.com to learn more about the foundation and Linda’s inspiring story!

Guest Speaker

Emily Sadler, of the
Lipstick & Liquor Documentary

Our featured guest speaker is Emily Sadler, who is profiled in the powerful new film, Lipstick and Liquor: Secrets in the Suburbs. This compelling documentary sheds light on the increasing rates of alcoholism among American women and seeks to provide understanding and insight into the struggle to stay sober.

Emily’s personal story and her ongoing efforts to help others in their fight for recovery are truly inspirational and we are thrilled to welcome her as our guest speaker.
