Seasons of Recovery Highlights
On November 19, 2012 Dr. Claudia Black, Ph.D. presented Addiction, Recovery, Family.
Claudia Black's seminal work with children impacted by substance abuse in the late 1970s created the foundation for the adult child movement. Today, Claudia is a renowned author and trainer, internationally recognized for her pioneering and contemporary work with family systems and addictive disorders.
Claudia Black, Ph.D., MSW, designs and presents training workshops and seminars to professional audiences in the field of family service, mental health, and addictive disorders. She is the Sr. Editorial Advisor for Central Recovery Press and serves as Senior Clinical and Family Services provider for Las Vegas Recovery Center. She serves on the Advisory Board for the National Association of Children of Alcoholics and the Advisory Council of the Moyer Foundation.
Claudia is the author of several well-known books: It Will Never Happen to Me, Changing Course, and Straight Talk: What Recovering Parents Should Tell Their Kids About Alcohol and Drugs, and the latest title being Intimate Treason: Healing the Trauma for Partners Confronting Sex Addiction.
