Father Martin's Ashley Named a Top Place to Work
Thursday, December 01, 2011
HAVRE DE GRACE, MD (DEC. 1, 2011) —Father Martin’s Ashley, the non-profit alcoholism and drug addiction treatment center was named a Top Workplace in a recent independent survey of employees as announced by The Baltimore Sun. Seventy-five companies and organizations in the Baltimore-area were selected after employees voluntarily completed comprehensive surveys to measure workplace satisfaction. Father Martin’s Ashley is the only addiction treatment center to be recognized. Workplace Dynamics, an independent research firm, administered the surveys to employees and tabulated the results.
Fr. Mark Hushen O.S.F.S., President and CEO of Father Martin’s Ashley commented on the recognition: “We are honored to be on the Top Workplaces list. Our employees embody the Ashley Mission—healing with dignity and respect—and place patient care as their top priority. We plan to use the results we have received from the survey to continually improve the workplace environment to foster a positive workplace for both employees and positive patient care.”
The winning organizations were honored at a recognition reception at The Baltimore Sun Offices on November 30th and were featured in a special section of The Baltimore Sun paper.
The non-profit, non-denominational treatment center employs nearly 200 employees and serves patients from all over the world.
